Lap Seam Binder. What is a Lap Seam: A lap seam is a seam variant where the two edges of the fabric are folded in opposite directions so that both cut edges are concealed inside the seam. This type of seam is widely used for heavy and rough fabrics such as denim or canvas, but can be used for most cotton fabrics. (not suitable for knit/stretch fabrics).
