Chatswood Sewing Centre was established in 1975 & is now privately owned by Shane Davison since February 1999.

We are Accuquilt, Baby lock, Handi Quilter, Horn, Husqvarna Viking, Pfaff, Janome dealers dedicated to providing the best service & products for you. This dedication has gained us an excellent reputation with both customers & sewing machine companies over the years. It has also won us several professional awards which we are in recognition as one of Australia’s top dealers.
In our continued efforts to provide outstanding service & quality products, all our staff members attend regular training seminars so that we are always up to date with new technological advances & sewing techniques. All products sold at our shop have been thoroughly tested by us to ensure quality & value for money we don’t sell it unless we would buy it!
Most important of all we only employ the best staff available happy, keen & eager sewers.

Shane has worked for several leading sewing machine companies & has successfully owned his own repair business for many years, he has a Master Degree in service technician and Engineering – TCF Mechanic Certificate this has extensive knowledge & experience in all makes and models of sewing machines, quilting machines and overlockers.

Our indispensable staff members without whom we would not be able to offer such great service. They are dedicated to customer service & self- confessed addicts to sewing!

Ann has 20 years of experience in the sewing machine industry; Ann has worked for Chatswood Sewing Centre for 12yrs & Janome for 10yrs, and has a very knowledgeable background with all machines. Is an enthusiastic sewer and Quilter.

Christian has worked with Chatswood Sewing Centre since the year 2000, has achieved a Master Degree in service technician and Engineering – TCF Mechanic Certificate. Christian has worked beside Shane for 20 yrs, in repairing and servicing the machines from all over Sydney. 

Maria Ciano has worked for Chatswood Sewing Centre for 3 yrs and has a strong passion for sewing; Maria’s background is in Couture Dressmaking and in fashion, has taught dressmaking through Macquarie College for more than 10 yrs, and has worked in the sewing machine industry for 18 years with an extensive knowledge on all brands of sewing machines. Maria teaches dressmaking, Quilting, Machine classes & Machine Embroidery, Overlocker classes, & children’s classes.

Sue Battaglene has worked for Chatswood Sewing Centre for 2 year enjoys working in the store and loves to create beautiful quilts for family and friends; Sue is an avid sewer and quilter. Has attended seminars on the Handi Quilting machines.
